Core Activities

The Remembrance

Sunday mornings - 10am

Every Sunday we hold a service for church members to gather together and keep the Lord's Supper, or Communion.

Using the pattern established by Christ Himself in the Upper Room, we remember the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus through a communal breaking of bread and drinking of poured-out wine. The importance of this service to Christians in the early church is evident from Scripture (1 Cor 11:23-26) and we believe in its importance today also.

It is a very precious time for us to give to God - a time of meditative thanksgiving and praise follows as we each bring to God our appreciation of the sacrifice of His Son for our sakes.

If you're interested in joining with us, visitors are welcome to observe the meeting and to join in with singing.

Sunday Sermon

Sundays - 11am

Following on immediately from the Remembrance is a more social, relaxed meeting. Refreshments and nibbles are provided while we all catch up and enjoy the fellowship we share, then our Praise Team lead us in song, followed with a message from one of the church teachers.

We would love to see you come along and bringing any friends or family with you. You can be sure of a warm welcome, friendly chat and a clear presentation of the gospel message from God's word.

We run a kids' class at the same time where the message of God's love is creatively presented through crafts and activities.

Prayers & Bible Study/Teaching

Wednesday Evening - 7.30pm

Each Wednesday evening the church gathers for the assembly prayers, one of the activities the early church in Jerusalem "continued steadfastly in" (Acts 2:42). Here we can bring issues to our God, whether it be asking for guidance as to what we can do as a church to better serve God, asking comfort for friends suffering from poor health or the events of the turbulent world we live in.

If you have something you would like to know someone is praying for, send us an email and we'll certainly take it to God in prayer.

After our time of prayer, we have a continuing Bible study where we read and discuss God's word together. On the first Wednesday of the month the Bible study is replaced by a teaching session.
